Top-Ten Yoga Instructions for Students


1...Yoga is for anyone at any stage of flexibility. Yoga is personal; you can only begin where you are.

2...Yoga is done in bare feet, please no shoes or socks.

3...If you have a serious medical condition or a recent surgery please inform me as soon as possible.

4...Please inform me at any time if you are experiencing pain or discomfort. Yoga is to be enjoyed not endured.

5...Yoga is non competitive. Keep in mind that this is YOUR personal practice.

6...Please do not eat one and a half to two hours prior to class. If you must eat something, please keep it light.

7...Modifications will be offered for the asanas (poses).

8...Please turn off all cell phones and pagers prior to class.

9...Please bring a yoga sticky mat, towel and a water bottle to class.

10...Remember to have fun!
